Bio

Em Starr (author) watching Melbourne traffic through a window.

Em Starr (she/her) is an emerging Aussie horror writer, with short stories published or forthcoming in numerous anthologies. She is currently writing her debut novel, a surf horror set in 1990s Australia.

Hailing from Melbourne town, on Boon Wurrung land, Em lives with her husband and her two dogs, Nikko and Franco (aka Dick-Dack and Fron Bon Jovi). She loves all things creative, and is endlessly enchanted by nature; animals, oceans, plant life, herbal remedies—oh, and blossom trees! How good are blossoms??

Em is a proud member of the Horror Writers Association and  Australasian Horror Writers Association.
